Keith Buckley, the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Rollins College periodically conducts a seminar for OCSC members on the complexities of the College Recruitment Process.

Former standout player Keith Buckley, Ed.D led the Rollins men’s soccer team to another successful season in 2006, his 16th season at the helm. During his storied career, Buckley has compiled a record of 179-96-16 and in 2005 became the Tars all-time wins leader. Since 2003, Rollins is 49-18-6 with three trips to the NCAA South Region Tournament and a Sunshine State Conference Regular Season (2004) and Tournament (2006) Championship.  Buckley’s résumé also includes four SSC Coach of the Year awards (1993, 2002, 2004, and 2006) and an NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year honor in 2003.
 
In March of 2005, Buckley was named Rollins College Director of Physical Education and Assistant Director of Athletics for Academic Leadership.

The NCAA produces a very useful guide entitled The College Bound Student Athlete, that provides a great amount of information for players planning to play soccer at the collegiate level.  All prospective players and their parents should read this manual prior to the recruiting process.
All prospective college athletes need to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse.  The main pages for the Clearinghouse can be found at NCAA Clearinghouse Site.
