IRVINE, Calif. (January 19, 2018) – Orange County Soccer Club in conjunction with the United Soccer League (“USL”) released the full 2018 regular season schedule today. With an expanded 34-game schedule, Orange County SC will launch the 2018 season in style playing the first two of seventeen home matches at the Orange County Great Park’s Championship Soccer Stadium. The full schedule may be viewed online at https://www.orangecountysoccer.com.
Orange County SC will celebrate its home opener at the Championship Soccer Stadium on March 17 against Phoenix Rising FC. Following the home opener, Orange County SC will play host to Sacramento Republic FC before heading on the road for two straight road matches in Oklahoma where the club faces OKC Energy FC on March 28 and Tulsa Roughnecks FC on March 31.
The stage is set for the first of three matches against LA Galaxy II this season. The first installment of 405 Derby will take place at home match against LA Galaxy II on April 7. Orange County SC will welcome Saint Louis FC back to the Western Conference on May 12 at home, and take on USL’s newest additions Fresno FC and Las Vegas Lights on May 26 and August 15 respectively.
August marks the busiest month for Orange County SC with six matches, including four on the road and two at home. The club will play one Sunday match, twenty-one Saturday matches, one Tuesday match, eight Wednesday matches and one Friday match during the 2018 season. Orange County SC will close out the 2018 regular season on the road at Reno 1868 FC on October 13, at Greater Nevada Field. Kick-off times for these matches will be determined at a later date.
