IRVINE, Calif. (May 3, 2018) –Orange County SC heads to Utah to check out the new home of Real Monarchs SLC when they take on the Monarchs at Zions Bank Stadium on Friday, May 4 at 7:00 PM. A win for Orange County SC would maintain the club’s first-place position in the USL Western Conference standings. Orange County SC closed out the month of April with two players up for nomination in the USL’s Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month and Player of the Month awards. Forward Nansel Selbol was nominated for his striking finish against LA Galaxy II on April 7. In first-place in the USL, with 26 saves and 5 clean sheets, Goalkeeper Andre Rawls was nominated for Player of the Month.

Orange County SC returned to the top position following their hard-fought, one nil victory over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday, April 28 at Championship Soccer Stadium. Midfielder Aodhan Quinn scored the lone goal of the night off of a penalty in the sixth minute of play. Keeping their lines compact for the remainder of the game, a disciplined Orange County SC kept their opponent at bay for the remainder of the night to secure the full three points.
