IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County SC announced today the coaching staff for its U23 League Two coaching staff. With Jerry Tamashiro taking over as head coach for the 2019 season. Tamashiro will be joined by Didier Crettenand as assistant coach, current head coach, Chris Volk will move to technical advisor and scout role, and Dan Sparks will take over strength and conditioning.
“The OCSC U23 team & coaching staff is a very important piece of our pathway to professional model and moving our first team assistant coach Jerry Tamashiro to lead our U23 team will only strengthen our pathway,” said OCSC General Manager, Oliver Wyss.
The regular USL League Two season will kick off early May 2019 and playoffs will occur in late July, with each conference champion advancing to the national semifinals and the winners of those matches advancing to the USL League Two Championship Final in early August.
