Goals from Nico Benalcázar, Stephen Kelly and Ousmane Sylla secured the result before 7,651 fans. That 2-0 series lead and the club’s ability to grind out results on the road earlier in the campaign remain the clearest indicators of what this group is capable of when it controls the tempo and attacks with courage.

Eleven goals conceded across the last three matches falls well short of the standard set by Brewitt, Benalcázar and Tubbs, so the opening 20 minutes cannot turn into another fire drill. Winning the second balls around Chris Hegardt is equally critical. When he receives facing forward, Bazini and Sylla become finishers rather than scavengers. On the road, Orange County does not need a statement result. A professional 1-0 or 1-1 keeps the side firmly inside the 34-point cluster, while chasing an early deficit at the Coliseum has historically gone poorly. Set pieces remain a two-way opportunity.
