Do you miss competing at the highest level? OCSC is bringing players with professional aspirations from Orange County, surrounding areas, and around the globe to Great Park. These tryouts also consist of a variety of age groups, as players from 16 to 28 years old participate. Take this exclusive opportunity to see where you stand amongst professional talent.

All participants are evaluated by our player recruitment and coaching staff, including head coach Braeden Cloutier, assistant general manager Peter Nugent, and president of soccer operations Oliver Wyss. As a collective group, this OCSC coaching staff won the 2015 & 2018 USL Western Conference Regular Season, reached the Western Conference Semifinals in back-to-back seasons, and reached the Western Conference Finals in 2018.

Every year at least one player gets invited to Orange County SC’s spring training camp. Players under 20 years old who aren’t quite ready for USL Championship play, but who make an impression on the coaching staff, may be invited to train with the OCSC Academy team (U14-U19). Academy players have the opportunity to train with Orange County SC’s first team throughout the season.

Over the years, a select few players have gone on to earn full-time roster spots. This year, participant’s skills and potential will be taken into consideration for every level of Orange County Soccer Club’s pathway to pro, from the USL Academy team to Rangers Football Club.

This tryout offers the unique opportunity to compete at a high level in a safe environment. Every participant will submit a negative covid test no earlier than three days before training begins.
