Professional Experience
In January 2025, Hegardt made his move to Orange County SC permanent, quickly becoming a driving force in the midfield. During the 2025 USL Championship season, he was a key creative presence, recording three goals and eight assists.
Hegardt initially joined OCSC on loan in July 2024 and made an immediate impact, appearing in 16 matches with one goal and two assists, including two playoff appearances.
Prior to OCSC, he played for Stabæk Fotball in Norway, tallying four goals and three assists in 17 appearances. He made his USL Championship debut in 2019 with Tacoma Defiance as part of the Seattle Sounders Academy, later spending two seasons at Georgetown University before signing with Charlotte FC ahead of its inaugural 2022 MLS season.
He also gained USL experience with Charlotte Independence (2022) and Loudoun United FC (2023).
