Professional Experience
Tyson Espy signed his first professional contract with Orange County SC in August 2025. He made three appearances, logging 15 minutes, and impressed at center back by completing 19 of 20 passes (95% accuracy) while winning two of three duels.
Espy joined OCSC from the LAFC Academy, where he competed in MLS NEXT and was a member of LAFC 2. In July 2025, he was named to the MLS NEXT All-Star Team.
International Experience:
Tyson Espy is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in his age group nationally and has been a consistent presence in U.S. Youth National Team camps at the U-15, U-16, and U-17 levels.
In February 2026, Espy helped secure two clean sheets at the Concacaf qualifiers, playing a pivotal role in the United States’ qualification for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
In 2025 he traveled with the U-16s to Argentina and Uruguay ahead of the 2026 Concacaf U-17 Championship and FIFA U-17 World Cup.
With the U-15s, he won both the UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal and the Vlatko Marković Tournament in Croatia, scoring his first international goal in a November 2024 draw against Mexico.
