“We knew coming here would be tough, we knew that Tulsa would be up for the battle and that we had to be prepared for that,” said Orange County SC midfielder Richard Chaplow. “Again we stood up to that challenge, imposed ourselves on the game and were clinical in front of the goal.”
Tulsa Roughnecks FC defensive midfielder Michael Binns was sent off with straight red in the 26th minute for a hard challenge, when he dove in cleats up on Orange County SC forward Mark Segbers. From the resulting free kick Orange County SC made it 3-0, after the initial free kick was deflected off the wall, a fast acting Aodhan Quinn sent a beautiful pass to Thomas Enevoldsen who slotted the ball to the bottom right corner of the net, scoring his second goal of the night in the 29th minute. The teams would end the half with Orange County SC leading three nil.
The second half would prove equally satisfying for Orange County SC who didn’t let their foot off the gas. In the 49th minute midfielder Richard Chaplow fired a cross to Thomas Enevoldsen who launched the shot from the right side of the six yard box, but the shot curled just right of the net. The 72nd minute would find the Roughnecks FC two men down when Lennon was sent off with a red card for violent conduct. Orange County SC’s Chaplow and Enevoldsen would pair up again in the 77th minute. A brilliant cross from Chaplow provided Enevoldsen the perfect opening to launch a powerful strike to the low right corner of the net for his first hat trick of the season, giving Orange County SC the 4-0 lead.

“For me it was nice to score three goals. Always special when you make a hattrick,” said Orange County SC forward Thomas Enevoldsen. “So can’t complain about these last two games both as a team and individually.”
Enevoldsen wasn’t done helping his team score goals for the night. In the 81st minute he set up forward Michael Seaton who sent the ball behind Roughnecks goalkeeper Fabian Cerda, scoring Orange County’s fifth goal of the night.
“It’s the perfect way to end the first road trip of the season. Of course it get’s easier when you have one man more, but at that time, we were already 2-0 up,” said Enevoldsen. I see a lot of potential in this team and we can really do something this season!”
After making 611 passes and holding a passing accuracy rate of 87.2 percent, Orange County SC would close out the match with the 5-0 victory and the highest number of goals scored by the club under the new brand.
“It’s a great win for us, back-to-back wins are big and we are really happy to close out two tough games with two clean sheets and six points,” said Chaplow
