Orange County SC returns home to Championship Stadium in front of the Black and Orange fam to face New Mexico United on Family Game Night this Saturday, July 29 at 7:00 PM PST. This match is also our Touch-A-Truck event, taking place in the parking lot outside The Champ starting at 2:00 PM.
WHO ARE…NEW MEXICO UNITED?
New Mexico United head into Saturday’s match in 7th place in the USL Championship Western Conference, level on points with OCSC at 28. This match can be considered a “six-pointer,” because OCSC not only have the opportunity to pick up three points, but also have the ability to keep the team they are currently tied with from gaining three points. This won’t be an easy task, as New Mexico United have won four of their last five matches. Three of those have been shutouts, including a 3-0 victory against first place Sacramento United last weekend. Since assuming the bench boss position, Eric Quill has compiled a 4-2-1 record and moved New Mexico into a playoff position.

WHAT IS…A HOT STREAK?
Orange County SC will arrive on Saturday in the midst of a hot streak of their own, as they have won six of their previous eight matches (6-2-0) before playing New Mexico. In fact, no one in the league has claimed more points over that stretch than Orange County SC. The Black and Orange have done so with complete team performances, receiving contributions from all over the pitch. In that stretch, they have outscored their opponents 16-9 and goalkeeper Colin Shutler has amassed three clean sheets. Forward Milan Iloski leads the side with five goals scored during those eight matches, followed by three from forward Thomas Amang, two apiece from forwards Marc “Sparky” McNulty and Korede Osundina, and one each from defenders Ryan Doghman, Owen Lambe, Markus Nakkim and forward Bryce Jamison. Sparky was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week bench for Week 20, and will be looking to score in his third straight match.
