TULSA’S SLOW START
FC Tulsa’s slow start to the season is not because they have been playing poorly, they just have only played one match so far this season. Tulsa earned a 3-1 victory on the road against Las Vegas Lights FC in their lone game of 2024 so far. Goals from forwards Stefan Stojanovic, Phillip Goodrum and Milo Yousef saw them head home with all three points, despite just 29% possession on the night. This is Goodrum’s first full season with FC Tulsa, after coming over in a deal with Memphis 901 FC in the middle of last season. He scored 12 goals in 21 matches with the club last season. Saturday begins a stretch of two games in six days as they begin to catch up to the rest of the league in fixtures.
2024 Regular Season Record: 1-0-0 7th in USL-C Western Conference (10-9-15 in 2023, 10th in USL-C Eastern Conference)

BEER ISN’T THE ONLY THING FLOWING AT THE CHAMP
Orange County SC enters Saturday’s match as the top seed in the Western Conference after their 2-2 draw with The Miami FC last Saturday. Goals from substitute forward Thomas Amang and the first professional goal in the career of Fullerton, CA product Ashton Miles saw the Black and Orange claim a point in front of a sellout crowd at The Champ. OCSC has now scored six goals in their three matches, with two goals coming in each match. They are the only team to score multiple goals in every game they have played and are the joint highest scoring team in the league through Matchday 3. What’s more impressive is that the Black and Orange currently have six goals from six unique goal scorers, a potentially encouraging sign of things to come from a much more balanced offense this year.

ALMOST HEAVEN…ORANGE COUNTY
Orange County SC launched their 2024 Road kit earlier this week, the County Roads kit. The County Roads kit is a jet black kit with orange designs, most notably being the map of Orange County on the front. The kit is a nod to our supporters’ group, the County Line Coalition, and their signature chant. You can purchase yours at ocscshop.com today or grab yours at the stadium on Saturday, where you can have it personalized on site!
MILESTONE WATCH: SETH CASIPLE, BRIAN ILOSKI AND COLIN SHUTLER
Three OCSC players find themselves in positions to reach milestones and club records this Saturday. Midfielder Seth Casiple is in line to make his 200th Regular Season USL Championship appearance on Saturday. Fellow midfielder Brian Iloski would become just the second player in club history to reach 100 appearances with OCSC if he is to play on Saturday. Goalkeeper Colin Shutler could become the club’s all-time leader in wins and shutouts as a goalkeeper if the Black and Orange are able to come away with either one of those on Saturday.
