A RETURN TRIP FOR FAMILIAR FACES
Orange County SC makes their second straight trip to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Third Round, after their 5-0 drubbing of local NISA Nation side Capistrano FC in the previous round. It will be a trip back to where it all began for two members of OCSC, defender Brent Richards and midfielder Seth Casiple. Richards is the first ever Timbers Homegrown Player, having signed with the club in 2012. The Camas, WA native played for the Timbers U-23 affiliate and is still the all-time leading scorer in Timbers U-23 history (26 goals in 37 games). In 2011, Richards led the side to an undefeated season and was named the team’s Player of the Year. Casiple was a MLS Superdraft Pick of the Timbers back in 2015, and he made 32 league appearances for T2 in the USL Championship. He made his professional debut for T2 in the 2015 U.S. Open Cup.

HE’S GOT THAT “DOGH” IN HIM
OCSC defender Ryan Doghman has been enjoying a tremendous run of form for the Black and Orange. The versatile Norwegian defender has earned Man of the Match honors in two straight games for his efforts along the left flank by being both stifling on defense, but also contributing to the attack going forward.
